John Llodra
Managing Partner
John brings almost 30 years’ experience in senior and entrepreneurial roles in deal origination, management consulting, transaction structuring, and investment management. John has conducted buy-side acquisition search engagements for both financial and strategic buyers across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, tech-enabled business services, industrial tech, valued-added distribution, SaaS/software, and more. Over the first decade of John’s career, he held hands-on and senior roles at a diverse range of companies including UBS Investment Bank, Enron, Navigant Consulting, and Stone & Webster Management Consultants. During this phase of his career, he gained in-depth exposure to operations, strategic planning, asset valuation, and transaction structuring and due diligence. A calling to work directly with individuals and private business owners then led John to a career in private wealth management, first with UBS Financial Services, and then as co-founder of New Harbor Financial Group, LLC, a federally-registered investment adviser. John received a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering, with distinction, from Cornell University. John, his wife Grace, and their two sons reside in Groton, Massachusetts. During his free time, he enjoys singing and playing his guitar in his “old guys” rock band, as well as getting “lost” on remote, single-track mountain bike trails throughout New England.
